3rd International Conference on Shared Growth with Africa

On April 26th Altana (Gilles Gaillard, Julie Rolet) was present at the French National Assembly with the president of Croissance Peace, Ludovic Emmanuely, for the 3rd International Conference on Shared Growth with Africa on the theme “The Industrialisation of Africa”, rich in exchanges and debates on such essential topics as nutrition, the emergence of private groups in each country, economic agreements between African nations, education, green economy and health.
Numerous personalities were able to share their conviction and their hopes at this occasion, among whom the Deputy Guillaume Gouffier-Cha, the past Guinean Prime Minister Lansana Kouyaté, the current Malian minister of Economy and Finances, Boubou Cissé, the rector of the Academy of Paris, Gilles Pécout and the president of the group of pharmaceutical industry exporters, Francis Pont.
Mr. Pont insisted on the importance of partnerships concluded with French pharmaceutical laboratories and their role in the development of the local production of medicines. He additionally noted the engagement of Eurapharma and the group CFAO in Africa, particularly through the recent acquisition of Maphar, a major leader in pharmaceutical production and distribution in Morocco, that Altana advised.
