This year Altana participed in the 137th Annual Meeting of the INTA (International Trademark Association) held in San Diego the 2^nd to 6^th of May 2015.

Two of the firms lawyers, Pierre Lubet and Jean-Guy Ruffray, were among the 9000 participants, attorneys, industrial property consultants and corporate representatives attending the event. It was an occasion to expand the network of local counsels to whom Altana’s teams can turn to on behalf of their clients, by selecting the firms with the most competence in intellectual property.

On the program, a week of conferences on themes linked to intellectual property in general, and to trademark in particular.  This year, topics include, among others, international trademark law and licensing practices, the management of multi-jurisdictional disputes and the new trademark infringements on the networks. Numerous forums are also organized on the practices of different judicial systems in the combat against counterfeiting.
