The partners of Altana are thus very pleased to announce the promotion of four associates to Counsel:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Julie <strong>Cornely<\/strong> (Mergers &amp; Acquisitions), Laetitia <strong>Daage<\/strong> (Criminal Law), Marie <strong>Davy<\/strong> (Corporate Litigation, Contractual Negotiation) and Beno\u00eet <strong>Van B\u00e9sien<\/strong> (Economic and Competition Law).<\/p>\n<p>These promotions demonstrate the firm\u2019s commitment to cultivating the talent and fostering the professional development of its best associates.<\/p>\n<p>Julie holds a Master\u2019s degree in Common Law (Universit\u00e9 Paris II \u2013 Panth\u00e9on Assas) and an LLM from Louisiana State University (USA). She was previously an associate at Landwell &amp; Associ\u00e9s and Reed Smith LLP before joining Altana in November 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Laetitia holds Master\u2019s degrees in both Criminal Law (Universit\u00e9 Paris II \u2013 Panth\u00e9on Assas), and Health Law \u2013 Medical Liability (Universit\u00e9 Paris XI \u2013 Sceaux) and is also a graduate of the Criminology Institute of Paris. Previously an associate at Proskauer Rose, she has been with Altana since its creation in November 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Marie holds a Master\u2019s degree in Corporate Law (Universit\u00e9 Paris II \u2013 Panth\u00e9on Assas) and an LLM in European Law and Corporate Law (Kings College, London). Previously an associate at Jean Dolivet, she later joined the teams at Salans and has been with Altana since its creation in November 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Beno\u00eet holds a Doctorate in Law and a Masters in Community Law (Universit\u00e9 Paris I \u2013 Panth\u00e9on Sorbonne). He was previously an associate at BCTG &amp; Associates before joining Altana in October 2011.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Altana is an independent business law firm based in Paris with sixty lawyers.
